Periyar River Lodge is the place we were looking for all over this beautiful country called India. So quiet and peaceul. One would like to stay forever, just enjoying nature... We promise ourselves to come back to this paradise, always in stressful moments in our ordinary lifes... it will be a wonderful memory. Thank you for the wonderful stay here at the Lodge. From our first step onto the Periyar River Lodge, Paul and staff went beyond call of duty, making sure that we were very comfortable, happy and entertained. We loved trhe boat-ride across the river, trek through the forest looking for elephants and the tour of the property with various plants and trees. The dinner was exquisite, as beautiful and colorful as it was varied. With a splendid location and atmosphere, Periyar River Lodge has far exceeded my expectations and left warm memories. I must admit that our Honeymoon was complete right here in your property. The warm welcome, the hospitality, the food, the atmosphere, the nature's beauty and of course the people here..... everything is out of the world. It is like a heaven in Gods own Country. So very quite, peaceful, absolutely no disturbance and the birds singing.. it is just great. We must also thank Mr Paul for his gracious hospitality. He & his staff were always available for us which made us feel very comfortable as if we were right at home. Thanks.

Thank you very much for a wonderful short stay with you & your beautiful River Lodge. We so appreciate your friendly hospitality, your care for all of us, and particulary your kindness to the children. We enjoyed the delicious home-cooked keralan food. We loved the jeep ride into the forest,the swimiing at the waterfall and seeing the kingfishers on the boat ride. Our lasting memory will be of the peaceful time, the sounds of the forest, the fireflies at the night and your own attention to our needs and interesting information about the place and the people. We have had a most enjoyable stay here at the Periyar River Lodge. We enjoyed the boat trip last evening and I enjoyed the short trek this morning. Although I have sent customers here, this was my first stay and I am happy to continue sending customers and now I have a better undetsanding of the experience. keep up the good work - Paul and the team.
